Stan is a Sinatra tribute singer. He sings songs from the Tommy Dorsey days circa 1939, to the Columbia recordings of the late 40’s to early 50’s. From 1954 thru 1960 were the Capitol years. Great albums and many hit singles are from that era. Stan does many of those recordings also.
In 1961 Sinatra formed his own record company called Reprise. And at the ripe age of fifty he got Sammy Davis, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Nelson Riddle, Count Basie and just about all of the popular recording artists of that era to work with him. Stan loves to sing songs from that period also.
Stan has done Rat Pack Tributes, Frank and Sammy At The Sands, and many solo performances featuring Jon Simon at the piano and Steve Rubardt, the house piano player at the Sonoma Mission Inn. He has been doing a Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe tribute with Diana Dawn. In 2010 Stan has had many memorable performances. In February he sang at the Sweetheart Ball, a fund raiser for the Sonoma Boys and Girls Club. He also sang at the Imagery Estate Winery for Becoming Independent, also a fundraiser. In June Stan teamed up with jazz icon Eddie Duran and his trio for a Sunday Afternoon with Sinatra at the Meritage Restaurant in Sonoma. Then again with Eddie Duran at the Silverado Country Club. In October he and Eddie Duran did a Sinatra concert at Silos, a Jazz club in Napa. Then it was back to Meritage for a solo engagement on New Years Eve. If you like Sinatra, Stan’s the man for your next social occasion.
